VisualDX
VisualDX has been used in NHS Grampian via ACT funding, to provide access to an online learning environment with a wide range of clinical images collated to aid disease recognition across a wide range of pathologies, presentations and skin types. The rollout has been to medical students in their clinical years as a teaching aid within dermatology. This access to such a breadth of clinical images opens up the ability to demonstrate a wide range of presentations that would not be feasible in usual clinical placements.

Rapmed is an online platform that allows radiology teaching to come under one system delivering presentations, images, learner collaboration and interaction. DICOM images can be integrated along with powerpoint content, and a multi platform app allows learners to annotate, comment and vote on their assessment of the image.
